Yes, Prince Fredrick. Chuckle chuckle. Did you see Princess Mary… now we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk about the real Denmark. This tiny country has a knack for design over and above chairs. Barbara I Gongeni (pictured above and below) is a case in point, combining various streams of ‘the arts’ to create a multi-dimensional experience. The label, which releases collections twice a year, will show at Copenhagen Fashion Week (August 5-9). We’ll be posting the highlights from this and other shows, so watch this space.
